FAQ
short answers.

The questions buyers ask most, with links to the full answer.

01The product

Do I hold my users' funds or keys?

No. Wallets are created or imported on the user's device, every order is signed there and sent straight to Hyperliquid. There is no server that routes, batches or submits orders.

Do I need a backend or Firebase?

No. The terminal runs with no backend at all. To manage settings for all users you need somewhere to host one config.json file; Firebase is an optional alternative (how).

Which platforms are included?

Web, iOS (15.5+) and Android (API 24+) from one Flutter project. Desktop targets were removed.

Is there a separate admin panel?

No. Settings are published as a config file (or Firebase) and can be tested on one device with the in-app operator console.

Does it trade spot?

No. AXIS is a perpetuals terminal. It also shows Hyperliquid's builder-deployed stock and commodity perps (xyz) behind their own switch.

02Earning

How does the operator earn?

Through the Hyperliquid builder fee: your builder code rides on orders from your build, and Hyperliquid pays your fee on filled volume to your address. See Earnings. No income is implied; it depends entirely on your users' trading.

What is the maximum fee?

0.1 % on perps (100 in AXIS units). The venue rejects orders above it.

Why did no fee arrive?

Most often the builder address holds less than 100 USDC of perps collateral. See Troubleshooting → Earnings.

Is there a default fee address I must remove?

No. The package ships with no builder address and the fee off.

03Setup and publishing

Why is trading off after install?

hyperliquid_perps_enabled defaults to false, so a build can pass store review and be enabled per jurisdiction. Switch it on in your published config.

Can I test without real money?

Yes: build with --dart-define=HYPERLIQUID_NETWORK=testnet, or switch one device to testnet in the operator console. You need testnet funds from Hyperliquid.

Can I publish it in the App Store and Google Play?

The project builds for both. Store approval of a leveraged-trading app is decided by Apple and Google, and nobody can promise it; read Store review notes.

Do I need to be licensed to offer perps?

It depends on where you and your users are. Get local legal advice. These docs are not legal advice.

Is the demo site the same code?

Yes, built with AXIS_DEMO=true, which shows sample data and does not send orders. Your normal build contains none of that data (how to verify).
